Massaman curry paste is a traditional Thai dish that underwent the early influence of Persian settlers in Thailand. Lobo offers the authentic flavour of Massaman in their 50 curry paste. It depicts a rich version of Thai curry flavour with creamed coconut as the main ingredient, apart from plenty of spices. Massaman is more commonly used to prepare chicken curry dishes though other meat items are relatively less frequently employed.

The middle East, “Muslim” version of Thai curry, sweet, enveloping, dense and spicy – massaman curry can be an excellent dinner in the cold season. Cook massaman curry mainly with chicken or beef. In addition to meat in massaman curry add the potatoes and optional nuts (cashews or peanuts). Method of preparation: bring to boil in a deep frying pan 240 ml coconut milk and contents of package (massaman curry paste). Add pieces of chicken or beef, add 240 ml of water and cook until the meat is tender about 7-10 minutes. Add chopped into large pieces potatoes (2-3 pieces) and optionally, lightly roasted peanuts iliahi cashews (20-40 Gy). Cook until the potatoes and the nuts are soft. At the end of cooking to taste, add a little fish sauce. The finished dish is massaman curry served with boiled Thai rice rassypchatosti. The paste is designed for 3-4 servings.
